✨We named this design “Malu” ( Protection in hawaiian ) . The designs represent Fish scales , which were often used to symbolize “Protection “ just as the scales protect the fish .
Fish designs also commonly symbolize Prosperity and Abundance depending on the specific characteristics of the design .
